 | Effective Lighting by Els Viaduct Lighting Exhibition in Old Street The lighting was innovative in its distinctive style and lighting source, but lacks commercial value for a wide market. Many involved complex manufacturing process and assembly, price ranging from £400 to £1500. Lighting at the Swedish Design Exhibition The lighting installation in the discussion room was very effective. Functional focus on the speakers making a subtle yet recognizable separation from the surrounding audience. Highly applicable in office spaces and other similar environments. It target an established lighting market within the current economical situation in the UK especially due to its manufacturing simplicity. its price though was unknown. |
 | Brave New World It is a kind of mechanical structure lighting which reminds me playing with Lego and building structures. Not only it is made of wood and it seems classic, but also it is modern and the reason for that is its engineering identity. Because of the separated pieces and kind of its junctions. Rhubarb Light A bionic design which is like a vegetable with the same name which is made of folded Polypropylene. It gives a hue and enticing shadow. Button A sound-absorbing room divider which is made of industrial felt-laminate with wood felt. It's made in two versions: white both side for conventional contracts spaces, and the other one has alternate colours on both sides for taking things a step further and make more of a visual statement. This divider is a kind of modular object with flexibility for multiple uses and its low cost and easy to produce is interesting.

YAMAHA Touch The Sound Through the redesign of the object, people will reconize a more direct methord of creating music.At the same time,people can use the unusual methord to understand the music.This kind of music can satisfy people's emotional demands. The Chair at the Poltrona Frau Group Showroom People will feel more safety when they are surrounded by a semi-enclosed chair which is more focus on people's emotional demands. |
 Cirkellamp by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar for Boops | Lighting Designs at Viaduct by Shuyang Cirkellamp Personally, I like geometric minimalism very much. I always think that using a simple shape to present beauty is more challenging. Cirkellamp is just used the original geometric shape and create wonderful atmosphere in space. Normally, people design lighting products that usually use something to cover the lighting tube. However, Cirkellamp is used an aboriginal lamp to become a main design element and still maintaining the quality of design. Additionally, Cirkellamp is made of less material so that it consumes less energy. In conclusion, it is not only beautiful but also environment friendly.
